P2P

Filesharing is the concept which refers to Transferring or transmitting of files from one computer to another with the use of another network or internet. The term P2P refers to "peer-to-peer" networking. A peer-to-peer network allows computer hardware and software to function without the need for special server devices. P2P is an alternative to client-server network design. One example of P2P is BitTorrent. BitTorrent helps get information from one network to another. My personal example would consist of me trying to download music off the internet. Some of the websites do not allow you to download music directly to your computer, so you have BitTorrent which converts the data sent by the server to provide you with the music you need. "The P2P successes contributed to new market creation. It created a mass of music lovers who consumed music in a very different way."
